Does anyone have any experience with Patreon rewards?

Cos I'm bad at them and really need some help hehe

@spiderrobotpig you can have several low-amount rewards that are basically just funning. no things given in return, just flavor text
a dolar, three dolars, five dolars; nothing major. just to set the tone

then you can escalate from there. keep going from those first smol rewards :3

or want to live up to

it has happened more than once that someone has committed themselves to a 40 hour workload for one dolar an hour, which is not a good return on energy invested

take inventory of how much effort things require, then apportion rewards accordingly. it might be their dime, but it's your time :3

@spiderrobotpig the key is to make it workable in the long term. these things go on for months and months

also: you can set multiple rewards at the same level, and make them mutually exclusive. just in case two things happen to be of equal effortitude
