I wonder if I could find a dowel that screws apart?
There's a Micheals down the way, may just go check that out honestly. Seems like a fun way to get out of the house for a bit

@kara_dreamer Like in the middle? I know I've seen dowels that you can do that with. If I can find one that's a good side, I can cut it so the part housing the flash drive is much shorter, giving me a wand I can keep my grimoire and stuff in

@kara_dreamer oh it'll just be a USB. It looks like what I'm going to have to do is use a branch, attach metal connectors at a glacé I cut, and then stick the USB into that
@spiderrobotpig ah. I was imagining sawing a stick in half, boring out a cavity with a Forstner bit to hold a thumb drive, and drilling additional holes round it to engage pegs in the other half
@kara_dreamer ooooh I like the sound of that too. I'll play with it, but I definitely want it to look like a mix of old and new
