@spiderrobotpig heh. i do "understand" cause i'm around it so much. i wish i knew how to get away from it :-/ but so far, here is a lot nicer than twitter, and i hope that's still true when the dust settles.
@ur_faec I mean, I've dealt with less bs, but I wish there was a way to personally block instances. That would be perfect
@spiderrobotpig yeah. i doubt it's conscious for a lot of ppl, but once you start perceiving social spaces as a game of metrics optimization (which a LOT of tech ppl do, it's practically the entire premise of reddit and its offshoots), you'll get mad at anything that limits your personal numbers -_-
