I hate it when I see people do this :/ I'm not saying don't do it, but I actually like seeing all of the French posting. Makes me wanna study more French tbh
@anarschtroumpf @anarschtroumpf
Yeah :3 Just don't think the Anglophones should get to be catered to when we're the newbies here tbh
@spiderrobotpig @anarschtroumpf To be fair, it's something I wanted to do on Twitter for a while, because the bilingual thing has strongly limited my reach; people unfollow when too much unreadable content is clogging their home TL...
I'm not running after popularity, but I'd like to see if separating the two is better received.
@spiderrobotpig @anarschtroumpf (Also since you follow both, you'll see them just the same on your Home column... But those who don't like it, don't *have to*. i think it's more respectful, considering i willingly joined an English-based node, and I can choose which language to use... :/ )
@anarschtroumpf @anarschtroumpf
I spose that true. Still :P
Haha
I need to find a Japanese and German instance while I'm at it
@spiderrobotpig @anarschtroumpf Well, I was worried about the opposite: people who don't understand it, finding their local timeline suddenly unreadable...
But it's fine, not only can you still see me post on the global TL, I'm also sure there lots of Frenchies here who will keep a single account! ;)
