So you're playing a card or board game, and it's obvious that a player is going to win... best circumstances, there's nothing the other players can do to stop them from winning. Do you declare them the winner and move on to the next game, or do you play the game out to see the final score?

@CarlCravens it does depend on the game - like, playing past "checkmate" in chess doesn't happen, in my experience, but we regularly finish Ticket to Ride even when the rankings are totally obvious.

I think if the losing players all together choose to concede, that's worth respecting.
