Playing with humiliation there's similarly two kinds for me.

Simple case, I'm doing something and I blush, particularly if I have an audience. I've called that "erotic embarrassment" before and I like it.

Another facet of my humiliation kink is less fun & lighthearted. It's a response to a perceived negative judgment from my lover - to disappointment, or disgust, or similar. I don't just blush, but feel a squirm of shame, an urge toward debasement, lessening of worth.

To play with that, part of me, for a moment, has to believe it. Or the emotional blow doesn't land.

That feels scary & requires absolute trust before & after that they don't mean it.

@sev yes, absolutely. On the other hand, if you can find that trust, it gives a way of engaging with the underlying problem in a way that can make it more approachable. Getting into that headspace is something I've only managed once or twice.
