so many tech companies apparently have more CEOs named Jack than common sense
woah patreon not making changes after all! Afficher plus
My unsolicited advice to you, #Patreon patrons:
If you already found an alternate way to financially support the creators you want to support, stick with it, you're good.
If you cancelled your pledge and DON'T have a new way to financially support the creators you want to support, go back to pledging on Patreon.
Disclaimer blah blah etc. I'm not telling anyone what to do, make your own choices, talk to the creators, etc.
[crashes thru your window] you're priceless!!!! value yourself as priceless!!!!!!!! [jumps back out the window, leaving you money for the window repair]

@alice depends on the context, I think. Since it's a term, it's what I'd use in official writing. In unofficial I might clarify the number/scale
@webinista is this Capital One? Their login stuff is weird as heck
I was really snippy to a person (not work) earlier and I haven't heard back from them yet today and I'm just like "was I too much? Did I snip too hard?" I dunno. I was tired and frustrated and their comments were extremely irrelevant to what I needed to know. Not even like subjectively irrelevant but they responded as though it were context A vs. context B
@abbenm and seriously what is the carbon footprint of autoplaying video.
@alice button/lock style different but looks similar yeah.
@alice I know I don't know how I'm goin gto replace it.
@alice I bought it in a NASA store and I don't think it's sold online :( It's a vacuum insulated thermos with a push-button on top to relieve the vacuum and allow sipping but it's basically a perfect sippy cup
@alice this is basically my thermos ^_^
Hah, I remember doing a short investigation into Reddit's user tracking a while ago.
Their tracking is like _significantly_ more overt and invasive than other websites I played around with. So when I do user tracking, I keep all of it on the log side and then join it up through cookie IDs.
Reddit just throws it into your cookies. Currently in my cookies on Reddit:
* Last Session URL Referrer
* LoggedIn Account last link clicks
* My Alt Account last link clicks
So they just tie all your alts together in your cookies.
On top of that they're using fullstory which is a default 'video track' type to view mouse movement and form fills.
