It's the kind of day where I'm reading guidelines for human subject research. That sounds a lot more exciting than it is. I want to ask people questions about their employment histories in terms of labor practices.

As I'd bet more people on here than some places will get -- that's got a lot of built-in risk for the subject AND they may experience emotional distress or relived trauma. So what's on the surface "I want to do a survey" becomes something much more & indeed should be handled with care.

... but also dangit I did this 8-hour training at my last institution & dun wanna again.
