How do we reconcile the need folks sometimes have to, I dunno, celebrate an accomplishment by wearing a sparkly tiara with commitment to principles of class justice?

@ruth Not sure I entirely understand your thought, but IMO class justice involves giving people the wealth— including symbolic or aesthetic wealth—and not a matter of restricting you from wearing anything.
It might be tacky for a privileged person to wear signs of imperialism while say visiting a poor community, but actions speak louder than tiaras.
