Let's go see Coco! (I'm really excited, I love death stuff, it's got lots of Mexican/Mexican-American folks working on all aspects, and it's been well-reviewed by Latinx reviewers so... here's hoping!)
Coco was a lovely movie. Heartwarming. Beautiful colors and animation (like there was a Frozen short before this where everyone wore blue and then Coco had rich pinks and oranges and blues and greens). Great music. All kinds of feelings about death and family staying with me. Cried.
I also cried cutting onions afterward and now I feel like I’ve been through an even more intense emotional experience.
