kinda glad we don't have thanksgiving o_o because the idea of two family celebrations in roughly 1 month is TOO MUCH!
the downside is that you can't buy canned pumpkin here tho, so if I wanna make a pie it has to be in october and it has to be from scratch o_O with actual pumpkin.
@bentosmile the one (only) thing i kinda like about it is if u hav two families to juggle u can be like "well, we'll go to X for thanksgiving and Y for christmas" whereas in the uk at least (for me) there arent rly any other family holidays so ur split in a thousdan directions at christmas!

@roadrunner ah that's true. was thinking how I'm feeling a bit bad 'cos we can't go to germany this year. (too many reasons :/ but wah the christmas market is so nice, I wish we could go ;o; )
I've grown stubborn these days and always wanna make christmas dinner myself XD and no one is taking that from me! all the leftovers... I mean, if I don't make dinner, what are we gonna eat for the next week?!
