i gotta say. ghost's suggestion of call of cthulhu where its a woman in a very nice dress convincing you that she murdered everyone in this small english town with magic and you have a fantasy stat instead of a sanity stat is actually remarkably viable
if you gain a large amount of fantasy at one time you roll on a table and one of the results is your character crying and pointing at the source of their conflict while shouting any theories that come to mind

@kaguya and while the world is shaped by the gm in virtually all tabletop, its not like dungeon world or even more casual D&D where you can chip in suggestions about the setting; there IS a defined story and the gm is the one who most shapes it
