actual play podcasts also hurt because i start to feel inadequate
@raindare the gm of friends at the table had been gming for like 10 years straight and even then fatt starts out kinda middle of the road. i feel like it'd be unfair for me to compare myself to even the players, because they're so much more experienced and straight-up older.
@raindare as for the adventure zone, everyone on that show is formally trained in improv comedy and podcasting. of course their shit is gonna be engaging.
@voyagerwitch actually this was less about the adventure zone because i can tell that (especially early on) theyre kind of new to it, and i havent gotten far enough to really be engaged by their plots.
@voyagerwitch im mostly thinking of tddc, which i'm up to date on, and a few other smaller ones, including campaign journals
