Reverse oppression isn't real 🤓

Pushing for the validity of these ideas centers the feelings of the privileged over those who experience oppression 😠

and this idea that marginalised folks shouldn't talk violence against their oppressors or else they'll face consequences/be ignored by their peers, is gross

i don't really care about whether or not i'm blocked, because nothing i said made any difference anyway, and people can block who they choose.

my big issue is the perpetuation of these shitty ideas in mainstream politics.

silencing talk of violence against oppressors is something coming from privilege for sure.

many marginalised folks don't get to avoid violence, as it's the only way they can get reparations or seize their rights

even if you're marginalised and advocating for nonviolence, you are horizontally oppressing other marginalised folks
