I feel like some people who identify as anarchist miss the whole point of anarchy: while its name suggest no government this is in fact incorrect and was only called that due to no better name for it at the time, but what it really means is reduction and elimination of unnecessary hierachy, it is impossible to completely eliminate government as there will always be some sort of governing convention on society.
@codeawayhaley it depends what you mean by government. if you mean organisation, then yes that is necessary, if you mean like a government we have now, then obviously no
@radicalgraffiti Government by my definition is any system in which society self regulates, principals in which the people live by, and that kind of stuff.
@codeawayhaley i thought so, i tend to define it as something like the decision making apparatus of the state
@codeawayhaley yes, i'm talking about a set of organisations that are used by a minority to maintain control over the majority in a particular territory
@codeawayhaley regarding your original point, this has been a problem pretty much form the start, heres luigi fabbri writing about "anarchists" getting there ideas about anarchism from bourgeois stereotypes of it about a hundred years ago https://libcom.org/library/bourgeois-influences-anarchism
