@Sylvhem local law says they must give 24 hours notice... Not sure if it counts since they said it would be on the 4th but they came on the 5th.

@Sylvhem yes, and they technically did not give notice today since the letter said Jan 4th, not Jan 5th.

@lindseyb I'm going to have to see what MD law says about this because this is ridiculous. I'm also going to order some security cameras because I'm worried something creepy is going on for real now.

She was like oh well you should really speak to the manager (who CONVENIENTLY is NEVER there when I call) because she can respond with more tact but uh basically it's in your lease and we can come in whenever.

And I'm just so angry. I'm seething. And my lease goes through the end of October. Fuck this, though.

No one ever showed up, due to the snow and cold.

And then just minutes ago, my sensor pinged my phone that someone was inside my apartment and I am FURIOUS.

I called the office again and the number was working today. I told them that I didn't know why someone was in my apartment bc we had discussed that I didn't need treatments and they said too bad, it's preventative and we're doing it anyway. I said I feel that monthly visits are excessive and that my privacy is being invaded.

You may recall that I installed a door sensor because I feel like my landlord is coming into my apartment excessively.

I got a notice on the 3rd that someone would be coming on the 4th to spray for pests. I don't have pests. I have previously discussed this with the management and after the last fiasco where I cleared out all my kitchen cabinets for a treatment that I didn't need and never happened, I was assured they'd take my name off the list.

Yesterday I attempted to call the office to discuss. But the number was out of service, wtf?! I guess bc of the snow day. I left a message with the parent company. Never heard anything.

Oh gosh we learned so many things tonight.

@katje we went through this at my work and wound up having them agree to put in gender-neutral single occupancy restrooms in any new construction, and they're converting existing single occupancy to gender neutral

something awesome I recently saw at a convention center was a men's restroom where the urinals are in a separate room. the convention changed the restroom labels to gender neutral anyway but I thought it was great to have the urinals in a separate room for more privacy.

After work tonight, ice skating classes resume! 😊 ⛸ I'm starting level 4 which means.... crossovers. Exciting!
