@benhamill yeah you'd definitely need a dual head printer for that. You also have to edit the model to work with the dual print head setup. I think painting would be easier.

@benhamill If you have a 3d printer with dual heads, you can print in two different colors. Alternately, you can change out the color midway through the print. It depends on what kind of effect you're looking for precisely with the color.

As for the weight, you could possibly design a hole in the middle of your object and insert the weight to be printed around mid-print, but I haven't done that myself.

It's been below freezing here for over a week, which is extremely unusual, and I'm very tired of being cold and huddling under electric blankets. :(

@ceiphiedknight that is true. I meant like, it's not like they *need* them for warmth or anything, but clothes are half the point of dolls so...

Amaroq mangles this toot so I’m trying again:

Good morning, Wandering Shop and the Fediverse where we wander!

Tea? :teapot:

Today is the beginning of #yarnuary, and I’m really looking forward to seeing people's #showandtell of their projects: not only #knitting or #crochet, but also #weaving, #nalebinding, #handspinning, and whatever else, including #needlefelting.

The goal is to find fiber/fibre artists/crafters across the fediverse, of all levels of experience.

@Lapis Ah yes, pinterest. *shakes fist*

@paralithode It's true! Although Yuuri certainly has his share of pants-less moments too 😂
