Anybody know if Sam Farren is on Mastodon? They wrote the Dragonoak series of which I've only read the first because I continue to hold out hope that the second and third ones will get a paper edition (they're Kindle-only so far). But the first one was incredible and you should read it, especially if you like dragons and ladies kidding ladies and interesting fantasy species.

They're a friend of a friend and I think they've had a lot of problems with people trying to harass them on twitter, tumblr etc.
@pursuitofnerdiness @benhamill that is really too bad. I tore through that series, it is perhaps my current favourite series bar none.
@nergdron @pursuitofnerdiness That's awful. I'd like to think they'd have a better time on Mastodon, but I can't know what's right for them and their life. The first book was so amazing in so many ways.
The second and third books not being in paper are making me consider an ereader for the first time. I really don't want one, but... I REALLY wand those next two books. My life. It is so hard. 😜

@pursuitofnerdiness @nergdron Most of my reading time is on the bus. I could put it on my phone, but the screen is so TINY. And paper books are so ✨niiiiiiiiiiiiiice✨.
