also for real all the people in my year are so open and so passionate. like, i gave a little trans identity 101 workshop after i noticed ppl struggling with terminology and stuff and so many people came and asked really insightful questions and were so receptive and are really mindful of language in general. correcting language generally doesn't get you ostracized, it's the opposite. it's so good.
