My favorite thing about mastodon is that I truly feel like I get the love that I put in.

On paper, I think this might have been the worst month of my life. But I haven't spiraled into a pit of depression, as I've previously been wont to do, and I'm inclined to attribute that, in no small part, to your emotional support.

When I'm in a bad place and all I can do is comment on someone's toot and tell them I appreciate them, it makes me feel better.

Amusingly, this doesn't seem like it's reinforced by the structure of mastodon. But I haven't had this feeling about birdsite since the first few months. So 🤔
