@ruth @brook When it comes to web design I've been mostly using an eclectic approach with web 1.0 as a base and the most minimal use of modern elements like CSS and HTML5 trickery. JavaScript is minimal when it's even there, and I avoid using libraries whenever possible.

Mainly for me it's about keeping the "spirit" of Web 1.0 minimalism and function before aesthetics and using modern tech to leverage that.

I guess you could call it VaporWeb ;)
