ok masto friends, I have an ethical question:

on a 1 to 10 scale, 1 being smart and 10 being douchey, how would you grade me uninstalling all the LED lamp-type bulbs I bought for this apartment over the past six years, taking them with me to my next home, and replacing the ones you removed here with the incandescent and halogen bulbs the place came with when I moved in (yes, I kept them)

@kara_dreamer i think it's more a sign that i have made a lot of substantial progress with my cptsd clusters, because the first two years were hard, the first of those was downright brutal

@kara_dreamer this was more my fault. she's been a good therapist over the past couple of years. it's just where my headspace was today, so this is mostly on me

my therapist and i had a strange session centring around, of all things, the folly of planned obsolescence and of turkey (the poultry)

i'm not sure how much we actually got done :/

fifteen years ago, younger trans women had begun to hook up irl by way of online, but that was still not as common as it would be now, and the collective self-image of trans women was pretty low relative to nowadays

i'm dl'ing the new update as a whole package to wipe my phone and hope like mad that i can restore my phone to its exact configuration right afterward without dealing with a bunch of annoyances, but given past experiences, this is not liable to happen as smoothly as desired

this didn't generally happen twenty years ago or even ten years ago
