after considering horse piss and archival methods, i accept that i may be a bit witchy after all

who would have thought i'd ever say this about myself

@drcable oh. maybe it lacks the accent aigu and i've been adding it erroneously this whole time

@drcable i have no earthly idea. they look a bit like loacker wafers

@drcable really? how is it marketed there these days? i could swear it was called toffifée there as well (and i think i even bought a box to keep with me back in ’00 during my week in the UK as railway snack food). the only place i've seen it under a different spelling is in the U.S.

@nire @drcable pretty sure they sell it as "toffifay" at places like walgreens and cvs in the U.S.

@drcable i think it already has

but meme aside, i really do love toffifée

wow @PinkCathodeCat just intro'd me to a word i didn't even know i needed in my life <3

@catalina also, there's no out-of-box build of copperhead for my handheld device

@catalina right around the regime change in january, i shopped around for vpns and came very close to a choosing from a couple of finalists, but then realized i didn't have the budget for it. instead, i did what i could within my power (locally). i still plan to bring a vpn into things at some point

@catalina my android device is unlocked and rooted. i suppose i could re-lock it but keep it rooted. i'm not sure what kind of secure version you'd be referring to tho

@catalina aww shit i need to budget for a vpn :(

@catalina iNOs

despite being an apple user since before macs, and despite using macs continuously since System 6, i have never had a device which runs iOS and, touch wood, probably never will so long as it's a completely closed system (especially egregious given how its code base derived from OS X, which itself was built from a mess of open source components)

all of this to say: idk why the emoji shows up inconsistently between macos and ios
