@baa 'queer geographies' are (if i'm to assemble a quick def here) physical realms, usually in urbanized areas, in which GSM folk have either been "contained" from the outside (ghettoized) by social pressures, municipal interventions, &/or economic exclusion, manifest as structural homophobia and/or transphobia; *or* physical realms "claimed" (enclaved) by GSM folks which as a community carve an area of social &/or economic activity from geographic heteronormativity &/or cisnormativity — in which a probability of structural violence and/or discrimination by cis/het agents from outside the realm is assured from happening with as much frequency
