@patience we use s (section), ss (sections) and sub-s and sub-ss. However, reference to sub sections is usually preceded by a reference to the highest point, followed by the subsection in parentheses, e.g. 64(1)(a)
@PinkCathodeCat that's usually (tho not always) how it appears in Canadian law. I haven't seen ss. before here… yet
