@patience yeah, now that i've got these lenses and no body, i was looking at film bodies, but i haven't worked with film since high school

@catalina so they're Nikkor G lenses

tho i concur with him that "G" stands for "gelding" because no SLR lens has any business lacking an aperture ring
@patience as an impressionable youthe i often took his advice on matters of photography but at least i always knew he was a jingoistic dip shit
@catalina he's a boring materialist and not very creative or expressive with his work. he merely knows technique, but his examples are dull af. and i think his kids are traumatized by being in his pics all the time
