i also found there's a way to put a palm emulator on my phone, but the engine costs money w/ no demo. and i'd need to find the roms for the versions i'd want to run, such as 3.5.2H or 4.0

and if you're thinking, "gosh, how baroque, patience. why would you do that?" it's because its UX simplicity & flexibility is why i used my palm device (a red handspring visor edge) more each day back then than i've used my handheld phones in the years since, my BB-compatible device excepted. the "convergence" period of PDAs & phones sort of ended that, but the basic PDA principle was incredibly handy
