@jk According to Wikipedia the transparent Gameboy was 1995, and I would guess that wasn't the first one.

hi friends: you have a right to control your space how you like

some tips:

- you don't have to follow admins - if you do, it's not unreasonable to ask them not to follow you
- make liberal use of muting and keyword filtering - it's great for cutting out content you are uncomfortable with
- blocking folks is totally acceptable, as is domains- just remember it's way harder for folks to work around if they might otherwise be cool to interact with/a potential friend

it's your space- you own it

@Morgane I've started keeping a bucket of water under my desk to dip my feet in to cool down.
Also, yes you are. β™₯

Francophones! I have a silly RPG character to name, and what I want is a French-sounding version of "John Lovescats" (as in "loves cats"). Would that be "John Aimeleschats"?

@julieRatsLover I love pictures of rats, but I haven't heard enough stories about their behavior. How cute! β™₯

@Femmebun Yeah, same! Just having this internet social network full of outspokenly queer people has been so much nicer than I expected.

...Bonjour ! :3
En vous souhaitant bon courage.
Avec le vΕ“u que tout aille bien.
Et buvez de l'eau, mΓͺme si pas soif.

@corpsehearts I'd guess they (like me) use tweetdeck.twitter.com/ or something else that refreshes your feed automatically, and have it open on a second computer screen so it's easy to notice new posts right away.

You don't have to accept everyone's apologies.

You're allowed to walk away from people who've hurt you and you don't have to forgive them if you don't want to.

Sometimes just cutting someone off is better than making peace with them.
