@cmdrspacebabe How do you find wellbutrin? I don't think it's available here. I was on fluoxetine (Prozac) for a long time, then switched to sertraline which gave me horrible side effects, then I came off meds altogether over a year ago and am seeing how it goes (hard, but maybe necessary for me right now). Anyway in that case I figure you don't need a reason?? Or like, that's reason enough! I'm sure your partner understands. I'm sure you know this already but I just thought I'd say

So I'm still on the pilot of Colony bc I had to go and do something in the middle. The expositional dialogue is extremely clunky, but I LOVE the world-building, and pilots are often clunky. Also I've heard it gets better as it goes along. So all in all I'm cautiously optimistic that it might be a New Show for me!

Feeling pretty down today for a number of reasons, mostly involving attempts at communication with my parents. I've made plans for the rest of the day, too, whereas I think I'd rather curl up and watch TV and/or read. MAYBE it's good that I can't, but that's a big maybe

@bodil I have heard this about mastodon.social (both that it's a default for a lot of people and that its culture isn't ideal for a lot of people who migrated from twitter). I chose to join a different instance partly for that reason - hopefully as mastodon becomes better known people will become more savvy/better informed in advance about choosing instances?

@SaiaLePi0u I have a horrible phobia of needles (to the point where I used to get panic attacks and nightmares when I was younger), and ALWAYS faint when I have to have blood taken for medical reasons, and I struggle with this :/ Part of me thinks I should just "try to get over it", but it's not that easy, and fainting at the blood donation station seems like it would be a huge inconvenience for everyone, so...

I just started watching Colony on Netflix. The collaborators are called 'Redhat Officers'; there's 'Resist' graffiti on the walls - the Pilot aired in January of 2016, so some of the writing was on the wall (as it were), but it still feels like it's kind of eerily prescient. Not to mention parents separated from children at the borders!

@oceangrunge Yeah, I've def found it the easiest so far, but I wrote something in inklewriter and quite enjoyed it. I'm trying to use a different platform each game I write so I can learn as many as possible, but I decided for jams I'm gonna stick to Twine just for speed/ease of use. Is that Morrigan in your pic btw?
