An underrated aspect of depression is that, if you have good days and bad days, your bad days just eat into your good days. Like you just generate this labor deficit for yourself and end up spending your "good" productive time doing dishes and cleaning up after yourself. For people who have their depression in a manageable place, that's something you deal with. But for people just getting out of a deep depression it highlights how many different layers of support you really need to get there.

"Government name" is a much more accurate term than "real name" IMO.

One of the things that I like about the "Change my mind" guy meme is that it's so much less confrontational than "Fight me".

Also, don't ever think you're too smart to get into a shitty or abusive relationship. Your intelligence is irrelevant, buddy.

I ignored, reasoned away, and justified his behavior bc I had no friends. Who talked to me. Who noticed when I was sad.

I thought, bc he wasn't malicious (at first), that what he was doing wasn't abusive.

People don't have to be malicious to do shitty things. Just bc they aren't malicious doesn't mean you're wrong for being upset or uncomfortable.

Your "friends" shouldn't treat you like that. Ever.

And if you end up in a relationship like that, it isn't your fault that they took advantage of you. Even if you "could've" seen the signs. They shouldn't BE signs in the first place. That's on them, not you.
