It’s always really disheartening to see tacitly anti-homeless policies, like the daily cap on bottle return deposits. When someone’s bringing in 25 bottles it’s probably their only viable means of income, and it’s value that they’ve *certainly* worked for.

The likelihood that those 25 bottles are bottles discarded by people for whom the dollar a bottle means *absolutely* nothing should not disqualify someone from *fucking feeding themselves*

people shouldn't have to choose between surviving transition and accomplishing what they need to with their lives

on the more serious side of things, more gun control will only favour the ruling class so long as the privileged are still free to stockpile automatic firearms, the police are still armed to the teeth and allowed to use force whenever they feel like it, and the marginalised and disabled are barred from protecting themselves

also teachers are already barely trustworthy around children and giving them guns is just going to further endanger children, not to mention further the police state
