@ebeth Bleh. Limited sick leave is the butts. I hate the idea of "paid time off" that makes you trade vacation/fun time for sick leave if you're having a bad time of it. People who are sick still deserve to take breaks. Being sick is not a vacation. IMO, unlimited sick leave and very generous vacation time with quarterly minimums is where it's at.

When you're learning by example, remember the UNIX developers' mantra: "Make it run, then make it right, then make it good" - and remember that a lot of what ends up in production stops with "Make it run".
