I made a mistake and went to the store to compare drawing on Surface Pro and drawing with the Apple pencil.
The only thing that can compare to drawing with apple pencil is... drawing with actual pencils WHAT THE FU!
I drew on old CIntiqs, new Cintiq 27", Mobile Studio 12" and each of those were "how good drawing digitally feels".
With Apple Pencil after some 5 minutes I forgot I wasn't using an actual non-digital tool. It was... an unusual experience. Now I understand what the hype is about; I could probably draw/ink about 30% FASTER than I do with a normal tablet 0.0

Pondering about two friends who write fics for a fandom; both have great characterization but their writing styles are so wonderfully different.
As much as we can talk about rules, writing is so deeply personal... Drawing, obviously, is too, but that can be seen at first glance.
I just think that's beautiful.

@Vulpes_Absurda Eh, I have similar feelings. I'm shopping around for a mobile option and I have just missed all the sales of the cheapest models of Surface Pro 4 here though. Terrible timing on my side XD

@Vulpes_Absurda @muraii I've been eyeballing a refurbished Ipad Pro since they've released that version; I just wish the owners of desktop had it free OR at least cheaper.

@muraii I heard lots of good about Krita, so definitely give it a try :) (Also when you're playing: Clip Studio Paint has a monthly trial - that's enough to see if you like how it works. UI has some problems with hiding great functionality but damn if I'd want to stop using it now)

@muraii What do you need it for? Because for drawing/painting Clip Studio Paint is great and it's often on sale. i still come back to PS (I have cs5 tho) for some things but I do majority of my work in CSP now.

"I will go to sleep earlier today" I say. It's already half an hour later than last night and the small factory outside my window is starting its work... whoops....

One thing I need to get a hang on as a full-time freelancer: taking days off. Weekends are just more workdays at this point and I'm... tired.

Fffsbgfkl not sure if I should try to hunt down one of the last from-exposition Surface Pro 4's on sale or get a refurbished IPad pro... Can't afford a new one from either eh.
