Web site has a free version and a "VIP" version.
When you try to use the free version, a modal dialog obscures most of the screen, offering either "Demo" or "Upgrade Now" for VIP version.
There is no way to dismiss the dialog. There's a dismiss X, but it doesn't work. So the only things you can do in the free version, apparently, is to demo VIP mode, or upgrade to VIP mode.
@beadsland can you use adblock or noscript or something to block the dialog?

Too much trouble to experiment with noscript. (Rather just find an application of the same class that actually works when you try to use it.) That said, the site is an application, so noscript would likely render it as useless as the dialog has.
@beadsland I see. I've never used no script myself. Just thinking of stuff that might let you block single elements. But idk if this particular webapp is coded so compartmentally
