approaching FM.town, you'll see frequencywitches crouching with an intense look, facing each other with cupped hands, and hopping rapidly between the many live bands; this is the 'sampling', an intricate lattice of audiojinxes that chop and mix found sounds into a potent brew; residents have always half an ear for their friend's living streams of discoveries. sometimes these links will synch, and spontaneous symphonies arise: proceeding as a composition while gaining and losing musicians, just as a river rapid gains and loses water.

how does one make an invisible ritual? to trace pentagrams along neurons, to hide salt in the circles of an i, gamewitches and other softwitches entwine rules with imagination, taking hexes and turning them inside-out around us. look around you; are we not all playing in their garden?
