raven witches, summer crickets, casting sky gradient jinxes

I don't understand the HUMOUR of the United States constitution they are subtle and quick to anger.

once, growing up in the country, visiting friends in a nearby foggy city, we stepped out to play and the sky was lavender, and flickering. to this day I'm not sure why; lightning? fog lights? but my immediate thought was that it looked like television flickers reflected down the hallway through an open door.

@KitRedgrave honestly if i had my way I'd be doing Lisp Montessori but maybe that's why I'm not a teacher

helped with some 4th/5th and 7th/8th grade computers classes today! scratch and processing, the students so charming bold and shy

@setavulos one with the air and heat in a kind of reptilian way, if reptiles sweat.

@setavulos let's start a sauna cult! I grew up with one, now always lacking T_T

(level's the wrong metaphor. this aesthetic of weird?)

played youtube.com/watch?v=yRHwWGO_A4 to intro a technology/society talk and realized that this level of weird hasn't quite made it to this rural county yet, everyone was pleasingly perplexed.

@yellowibowtie @drwho ooh, yeah. unfortunately I got a bit nervous and didn't have quite as much discussion as I hoped for the first time, but I showed them some good weirdness and in a week we'll make a tracery haiku bot and hopefully talk personal stories of empowerment/disempowerment!

@boots your avatar ducks when I mouseover it. A+ would anthropomorphize again.

@Jessiscah if the wit's especially spicy you can call it barbitrage

@drwho mm, good point. I'm going to try sneaking some tracery / processing.js programming in under the "break it until it looks good" model, hopefully pointed towards interesting homunculi

@yellowibowtie wow this is amazing! I'll try to point the discussion towards politics and bring these out :D
