I keep seeing this where someone makes a point and ppl go "hm. Your arguments sound similar to when people are defending (some horrible thing) so (some fucking off the wall assumption about a total strangers intentions and moral purity)" when that topic wasn't even in the ballpark of what anyone was fucking talking about
