What is with this idea that Confederate monuments shouldn't be destroyed but rather "put in a museum"???

The best way to memorialize the Confederacy is not to fill museums with statues of racists; that would be like filling a Holocaust museum with statues of Hitler and other notable Nazis. If such museums exist (and they should), they need to memorialize the VICTIMS of the Confederacy, not its leaders.
