Ri Young-hoe @noxy

this is my periodic check to see if any of you are active MH4U players... I keep having to play with internet strangers and they won't stop hitting on my avatar -_-

comme je vous demande parfois, est qu'il y a certain.e.s d'entre vous qui jouent toujours à MH4U? récemment il me faut jouer avec des inconnus et ils ne cessent pas de draguer mon avatar -_-

@noxy i gave the first ps2 game (no online play in america!) a mediocre review but that's it for my MH experience :[

but what i really wanted to say is wow @ ppl still hitting on game avatars, geez

@alyx 4 Ultimate (for 3DS) is the only one I've played, but honestly I've gotten more gameplay and depth from it than almost any other game. The extent to which you can actually get good is very enjoyable

and yeah, it's ridiculous, particularly since the costumes for the female avatars aren't designed to be attractive, they're designed to look like gear you would wear to fight a giant fire-breathing monster...

@noxy that's cool to hear; i never gave the series a proper go and maybe i'd like it if i Got Gud.

i was very into phantasy star online, which was a less action-focused predecessor, but that was still pretty different. not as skill-based.

@alyx I'm not really a big fan of action games in general, mostly because they end up being boring

@noxy due to repetitiion, or?

i don't like any genre as much as i used to, and action often bores me. those "stylish" 3D action games pioneered by devil may cry are kind of awful, to my tastes

@alyx yeah, due to repetition, and usually not enough customization for me. I'm primarily into cute things like Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Splatoon, etc.
