Woke up to an absolutely lovely text from my mother this morning, asking "if I'm alive" and remarking that apparently it seems I "don't care about them anymore."

This is from the woman who ONLY contacts me when she needs something, mostly advice/assistance for her fucking dead end relationship. Which I don't even want to discuss with her.

I'm already inclined to shut people out because of my personality disorder, but she seems determined to make it my only option

She once pressured me into emailing her boyfriend (a Republican police chief) and telling him off for a whole list of things I had kept to myself since it wasn't my goddamn business. This included informing him about what spoiled fucking brats his adult sons are, so I relished it as much as I could, and even sent it to her for proofreading so as not to tip the boat TOO much.

When they reconciled weeks later she was angry at me because I had "gone too far"
