a lot of mastons have suggested gender pronouns in their bios, especially here on witches.town. somebody mentioned it's important for inclusivity and against cis-normativity. can someone explain why is it important to noncis that i as a cis person put gender pronoun in my bio? any pointer greatly appreciated!

@celesteh so far i used quitter.se (qvitter+gnusocial), diasp.org (diaspora*) and witches.town (mastodon). i like mastodon UI (+ it has a good mobile client), and yesterday i discovered a decent mobile client for diaspora which might help me post and follow more. i always liked the clean UI of diaspora. but i see friendica is able to magically connect to nearly everything else including FB/TW... and now has a clean theme
@celesteh but for the last hour i'm somehow drooling over friendica features.
@celesteh i don't think it would be too bad. sorry, i'm using that classy english lingo for avoiding stating something directly, which is, that i have no idea what would be best.
oh but friendica is looking better these days
