The 50 minute multi-disciplinary work by Jair-Rohm Parker Wells is called “Blac Buc” -- a play on words referencing the Reconstruction era racial slur “Black Buck” and the name of the modular synthesizer system that the piece was realized on: the Buchla 200e modular synthesizer. The work was produced entirely using GNU, free and open source software.

@NthTensor why is it a good practice to follow as much interesting people as possible? i think that's not what is desired. federated timeline on your instance should be still an expression of the interests of the node's users and not as-populated-as-possible. the fediverse is already held together by it's federating technology.

What I learned you know, writing it's like a muscle. It is like running. It is like anything else that we do, singing, playing the violin, it is a lot of it is labour intensive, discipline intensive.

It is not all about inspiration and magic and being stoned or all of these things can play an interesting part. But really, to find a certain discipline and apply a work ethic to writing, you will get a lot more done.
