yaeh i think i can safely say i've never built a computer that ever worked 100% how it was supposed to. i got pretty close this time too. fuck. honestly just buying prebuilts from now on so i can blame someone else. too bad my current rig will still last me some time

individuals who just *make games* from start to finish are really amazing to me, because games pull in so much experience and inevitably doing things you're not totally interested in doing yourself. even the small games! I don't have that kind of patience...

then again, that interactive RD app I wrote comes decently close to a simple abstract game. and also, my argument is dumb because I learn ML stuff all the time and yet rarely do anything with it outside of some throwaway experiment code

I think the place I'm at now with gamedev is that I've stopped playing games myself so subconsciously I don't understand why I'd make something for myself that I wouldn't use.

*side note, I've never actually put out anything, it's just something that's been in the back of my mind since I was a kid
