Ok so is it really ok and even welcomed for people to just... talk to other people we see on the federated timeline? I've been too intimidated to talk to random people for so long because of birdsite lmao

Your "Home" instance & its principles (Free speech instance? Instance with boundaries? What are they?)
The above, but for the receiving instance and user
Your rights as a user (big topic, but essentially you have block and mute and can move instances by exporting)
