@NewEnglandite Ohhh, that'd be so interesting to get to compare! Especially since your grandparents lived both eras and hear how they see that time compared to how you saw it.
My grandma left in... 1941? when she was about 19 and she told me stories about the beginning of USSR and even the stories of the empire and revolution her parents had told her. I could never put a price on those.
