Looking for a new notebook. I bought a Thinkpad X220 in april last year and am quite happy with it. I even would be happy with its predecessor, the X201... if there were no games i want to play with an acceptable framerate! 😳

It's also not cool to program games yourself when you got no fast machine. 🤔

I guess it will just be the successor, the X230. Benchmark sites tell, that its integrated graphics are about 80% faster in all areas. That's a huge jump. After that, the X240 doesn't make a big difference anymore. The performance plus from the new processor seems to get eaten by its weird single channel RAM configuration. Why, Lenovo? Why? 😓
