@yaymukund I don't think it's "nearby" the problem. It's more complicated.
In fact, in France we have 2 kind of schools: public and private. Public are payed by taxes so go to them is free. Private are paid by parents, if they want their children to go to them. Often, public schools have bad reputation so "rich" people send their children in private ones (and there is a lot more white rich people than rich POC). It creates a separation.
