ATTN: There is a (relatively minor) bug in the current mastodon code.
EFFECT: Public timelines are blank on login or refresh.
Workaround: Go into Settings and make sure you mark the language boxes.
The bug: It's setting allowed languages to "none" by default instead of "all", filtering out all of the posts in the public timelines.

hey so, postfurs (well, and other people who do it): a thing to note: if yr doing hypno or -anything that can drop succeptable people- it should be CW'd under a tag if yr posting it into the public timeline (I'd go as far as to say *at all, ever*, but lets start with baby steps)
this is a huge bystander consent issue, and one where the after effects of it can be pretty fucking bad
its not just people who are do hypno who can get hit, its dissociative people and a lot of people w/ PTSD
