How do you establish office hours when your "job" is informal activism and organizing? I got people texting me at 10pm telling me I need to schedule a planning meeting and contact community members make Facebook events and please no I'm trying to relax before bed and you're just reminding me how awful the world is.

@nire FWIW I just expanded the hours my phone and watch will go into "priority notifications only" mode. So anything that isn't a call or text from a loved one won't ring my phone between 10pm and 7am. Tomorrow I'll go on Facebook and let people know I won't be available late at night.
@Ncl that works. its just good sometimes to remind ppl as a whole that not everyone keeps their hours
@nire any way that doesn't involve messaging them back every time? I miss the days of AIM when I could put up an away message saying "if you need to reach me, my office hours are between 9am and 6pm."
