so I understand the Switch controllers (some of? all of?) have gyro and accelo and all that

does this mean that -- potentially, or currently -- there's going to be AR/VR enabled games for the Switch?

also: could this mean that, since the controllers have the information, hackers could potentially bolt (in hardware or software senses) Switch hardware on to build cheaper VR kits?

also also: I have no idea what VR hardware dev is like at all, I barely have experienced it, so I'm probably wrong

@sydneyfalk you wont have VR on the switch, you might be able to use the switch controllers for VR, but using a wii motion plus is probably better and as cheap

@nire

> VR on the switch

My thinking was less "VR on the Switch" so much as "Nintendo might see an opportunity to build some add-on like that silly Game Boy printer or something, if they get weird about it"

but if there's no plans known or in place, ah well. TY <3

excellent to hear. I bet there's a lot of folks who'd be interested in doing so, potentially.

> wii motion

Really? O_o Last I'd heard it was very flaky. Need to research. <3

@sydneyfalk the wii itself is, the motion plus is pretty good but support for it is not that great until they figure out how to get the raw data from it (for dolphin)
